Our workouts are primarily HIIT and boot camp-style, incorporating weights for strength training. Each session is 45 minutes, including a warm up and cool down to stretch.
Workouts are peer-led, so every session is unique and reflects the personality and passion of the leader. Some locations and times are specific to running /rucking /walking activities for women.
We welcome women of all fitness levels and ages (18+). FiA is You against You! All fitness levels are welcome, while modifications are always encouraged to suit your fitness level.

We meet daily at various locations around the Katy area. See our schedule for locations and times. A FiA workout is a promise, always free, always women, always outside, rain or shine.
For your first time coming to a FiA workout, simply just show up and introduce yourself as an FNG (Friendly New Girl).
No registration needed—just show up! Look for our FiA flag at the site, and come say hi. For attire, wear comfortable outdoor workout gear. You may bring a yoga mat and weights for the workout. We’re excited to meet you!
All you need to bring is yourself with an open mind and a positive attitude, ready to get better.
At FiA, we believe fitness should be fun! That’s why we use creative names for our exercises—and everyone gets a fun nickname, too. You’ll pick them up quickly as you join in and get involved. It’s all part of what brings us together and builds our strong, supportive community.

Professor, as Region Leader (RL) is accountable for the integrity and safety of the FiA Katy West region. She ensures FiA Nation policies and guidelines are followed through all of our events and activities.
Tropical, as Region co-Leader, maintains communication within the region via announcements on Band and social media. She spreads the FiA love through the community.
Catcher, as Region Fitness Q, maintains the Q School schedule and hosts fitness challenges to improve standards in collaboration with fitness committee members: (volunteer pax)
Powerhouse, as Region Social Q, creates Who's on Q schedule and posts content to social media platforms. Organizes social events along with social committee members: (volunteer pax)
Facilitates prayer support to pax as needed. Organizes events for Fialanthropy with committee members: (volunteer pax)
Maintains membership and attendance data for engagement metrics . In charge of connecting new members with Attendance committee members: (volunteer pax)
Facilitates gear design and sales with Site Qs. Coordinates gear orders with FiA Nation and local vendors as needed.
Each AO has a dedicated Site Q - a leader committed to being present weekly. Site Qs ensure safety, support the workout leader (Q), welcome and gude new participants (FNGs), take photos for FiA social media, and make sure no worman is left behind during activities .
Stargazer is the Site Q for the Dawn location. She is supported by Yogi, her co-Q.
Birdie is the Site Q for the Broncs location. She is supported by Stitch, her co-Q.
Party is the Site Q for the Willow location. She is supported by SourPatch, her co-Q.
Cajun is the Site Q for the Rucking Around location.
Females in Action (FiA) is a peer-led, zero-cost non-profit workout group. FiA makes no representations with regard to the skill level of workout leaders, the safety of the exercises performed during workouts or the hazardousness of the premises upon which workouts are conducted.
